‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Trailer Finally Released

The world stood still Wednesday as Marvel Studios finally released the trailer to the upcoming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and it did not disappoint.

We get to see quite a bit in the two minute and twenty four second clip. Things that Marvel fans have been waiting at least ten years to see on the big screen and even longer for the diehards.

There’s Tony Stark and Bruce Banner visiting Doctor Strange and Wong in the Sanctum Sanctorum. There’s Spider-Man in his amazing looking Iron Spider suit. There’s Bearded Captain America and The Winter Soldier with a new arm in Wakanda with Black Panther and a TON of his friends. There’s a human form Vision (WHAT??!!) and There’s Thanos laying waste to superheroes with only two stones in the Infinity Gauntlet. Imagine what he’s going to do when he’s at full infinity power.

The stakes are certainly higher than they have ever been before and The Avengers will be facing their biggest and most terrifying threat so far.

Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters May 4, 2018.

Selena Gomez Releases Sexy New Song, “Fetish”!!!

Selena Gomez is back with new music and she is continuing her growth with more sensual and mature sounds. Her new single “Fetish” Featuring Gucci Mane is definitely a sexy summer groove and you can’t help but get hypnotized by it. The video, (which is mainly just a close up of her luscious lips and really nice teeth) does a lot to help the hypnotizing and overall sexiness of the song. Gomez, 24, is becoming a queen of subtle sexuality with lyrics that are just suggestive enough for adults but not so graphic that her younger audience can’t listen to it. “Fetish” does a good job of straddling those lines, leaving the lyrics up to interpretation and it has a really good vibe to it. I really dig it and definitely have it as one of the songs of summer 2017. “Fetish” is the second single released in the last couple of months by Selena after “Bad Liar” dropped back in May. Matt Reeves To Direct ‘The Batman’!!!

Warner Bros. has reportedly found their man to helm the next solo Batman film.

Matt Reeves is rumored to be in early negotiations to take over directing duties of ‘The Batman’ from Ben Affleck after Affleck stepped down from the position earlier this year.

Variety is reporting that their sources have told them Reeves has already committed to the project but the deal hasn’t been officially signed yet. Variety was also the first to report that the ‘Cloverfield’ director was high on a shortlist of directors they had in mind once Affleck decided not to direct but meetings with other film makers were still ongoing until recently.

This particular situation is not strange to Matt Reeves though. Reeves actually has replaced a director before as he did by stepping into the ‘Planet Of The Apes’ rebooted franchise when he took over ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ from Rupert Wyatt after Wyatt had successfully brought the franchise back to prominence with 2011’s ‘Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes’. Even with that pressure on his back Reeves’ installment in the Apes series was just as critically acclaimed and financially successful as Wyatt’s installment. Which bodes well for Warner Bros.

If the deal officially goes through Ben Affleck will still have a huge role in the film. This will be the first standalone Batman film for Affleck who besides portraying the caped crusader, has co-written the script with DC head honcho Geoff Johns and also will be a producer on the movie as well. The step down from directing will give Affleck more time to focus on his portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman who he feels warrants such focus because of how iconic a character he is.

With the director questions seemingly out of the way, the attention now turns to when will ‘The Batman’ start production? Reeves is currently in post production on ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’ which is scheduled for a July release this year but should be freed up to begin his prep work for ‘The Batman’ right after. Filming was supposed to start in May but after Affleck stepping down as director and coming off a very busy 2016 that included shooting and publicity tours for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’, ‘The Accountant’ and his passion project ‘Live By Night’, taking a break and pushing back the start date is more than understandable, especially since there will be more publicity coming this year for the upcoming ‘Justice League’ movie. That being said, seeing as how fast Warner Bros. and company has hired a new director would lead one to believe that production will be starting sooner rather than later.

While this will be Matt Reeves’ first foray into the comic book world, his past films have included dealing with monsters the size of skyscrapers, super intelligent-human like apes and even vampires (‘Let Me In’), so I think he is well equipped to take on ‘The Dark Knight’ and make a fantastic movie.

Justin Timberlake And Chris Stapleton Steal The Show At The CMA’s!!!

The 49th Annual CMA Awards took place in Nashville, TN this past Wednesday and the night belonged to two men.

First, the amazing Chris Stapleton finally got the national respect and acknowledgment he deserves by winning 3 CMA Awards for Best New Artist, Best Male Vocalist and Album Of The Year for his breakthrough hit album, Traveller.

Stapleton not only owned the night by winning three of the biggest awards, but he also completely stole the show with his good buddy megastar Justin Timberlake who he performed two duets with.

Using parts of both of their bands which made for a great medley, the two stars first performed Stapleton’s smash hit “Tennessee Whiskey” which was a great performance in it’s own right. But it was the pair’s second duet of Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” from his album The 20/20 Experience – 2 Of 2 that absolutely brought the house down!!!

Justin’s charisma oozed all over the stage and everyone in attendance was loving every second of it, with the likes of Keith Urban, Jake Owen, and Little Big Town among others all jamming out to the performances and Chris was right there with him rockin’ out. It was without a doubt the best moment of the night.

They were great together and it was a big and amazing moment for country music. You can see both performances below.

Patti LaBelle Proves She Is Not The One To Mess With!!! Goes NFL On Rowdy Fan!!!

Patti LaBelle made sure everyone knew she was not to be played with this past Friday night.

The legendary singer was in Vancouver for a concert when she invited a few fans onstage to sing and dance but one ambitious fan decided he wanted to do something a little extra special for the show.

The fan started to undress as he was dancing to LaBelle’s smash hit ‘Lady Marmalade’ and she WAS NOT having it!!          As Labelle, 71, told the dancer to stop she said… “I am not Nicki Minaj or that little uh, Miley” of course referring to Hannah Montana herself, ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer, Miley Cyrus which made the crowd erupt cheer.

The brazen fan was not deterred though as he then proceeded to show Miss Patti his bum and that’s when things really got intense!!! Patti, in a move that would make NFL defensive coordinators proud, rushed the fan, gave him a slight shoulder block and yelled…”Get off of my got darn stage, bitch!!! And stay off!!”

The fan was then taken off stage by security who LaBelle had initially waived off, wanting to give the fan a second chance.

Best Selling Novelist Jackie Collins Has Passed Away.

Renowed novelist Jackie Collins has died at age 77 after losing her long battle with breast cancer.

Collins, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer six and a half years ago was a trailblazer for women in fiction writing and a true superstar. She had a lovely, fascinating personality.

Collins lived a complete and full life and she was loved dearly by her fans.

While Collins was a very successful writer, her greatest joy came from her family including her sister, legendary actress Joan Collins, her brother Bill, her three daughters, Tracy, Tiffany, and Rory, and her grandchildern.

Her daughters released a statement saying…

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one of a kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today. She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who she has been entertaining for over four decades. She was a true inspiration, a trail blazer for women in fiction and a creative force. She will live on through her characters but we already miss her beyond words.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Confirms He Will Play Black Adam in Future Shazam Movie!!!

After rumors, teases and speculation for years, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has finally confirmed that he will indeed play Black Adam in the upcoming ‘Shazam’ movie. Johnson, who had been rumored to be deciding between playing Black Adam, and Shazam himself, tweeted the news earlier today with the message ” “Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot.” My honor to become.. #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics” Take a look at the tweet here…

Variety is reporting Darren Lemke (Turbo, Shrek Forever After) will write the script with Johnson and Hiram Garcia producing. The hero in all of this, Shazam, formerly known as Captain Marvel; nor his alter ego 12 year old Billy Batson, have been cast.

 

Warner Bros. Blinks First!!! Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice Gets New Release Date!!! Also Announces Release Dates For 9 Future DC Films!!!

In a game of chicken that Warner Bros. initiated with Marvel, The DC Comics owner blinked first. After initially changing their scheduled release date of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice to go head to head with Marvel’s future Captain America 3 movie, and professing they would not budge, Warner Bros. has indeed budged, blinked, chickened out, and whatever other metaphor for retreating you can come up with, and announced that they are changing the release date for the upcoming superhero blockbuster. But the good news is that the movie will be pushed up and not delayed. Batman & Superman fans will now get to see the two comic book goliaths go at it on March 25, 2016. A surprisingly early release for a movie that has Summer Blockbuster written all over it.

Personally, I think Batman v Superman would have won the Box Office battle against Cap 3 because even though the Captain America films and pretty much everything Marvel has put out these last few years have been really good, it’s Batman & Superman on the big screen together for the first time ever!!! And I think everyone that’s even remotely a comic book and superhero fan wants to see that. It also looks like we will be seeing a lot more of the heroes and villains from the DC Nation, as according to Box Office Mojo, Warner Bros. has also announced release dates for nine more untitled future DC Films and two untitled WB “Event” films. Speculations are that some of the untitled DC Films will be the already confirmed Justice League movie and it’s potential sequels, a solo Wonder Woman movie, a Sandman movie involving Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and a Shazam/Black Adam movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Early thoughts are the two WB “Event” films will be the sequels to the Harry Potter spinoff movie ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ which is scheduled for Nov. 18, 2016.

LeBron James Returns To The Cleveland Cavaliers. Says, “I’m Coming Home.”

NBA Superstar LeBron James has shook up the NBA world once again. In an very detailed and well thought out essay posted on Sports Illustrated (As Told To Lee Jenkins), “The King” has announced that he is coming home and returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers after leaving them 4 years ago to chase titles with D’wyane Wade and Chris Bosh for the Miami Heat. This move has affected and shifted the entire landscape of the NBA as free agency has been held up waiting for LeBron’s Decision 2.0 and Carmelo Anthony, who still as of now, has not announced what team he will sign with. Cleveland fans are rejoicing all over as this is the the story of legend. The basketball world is buzzing and there could be even more to buzz about in Cleveland as there is speculation that the Cavs are trying to make a deal with The Minnesota Timberwolves to bring Kevin Love to Cleveland making a “Big Three” of their own featuring LeBron, Love, & Irving. So many headlines and stories will come of this… “The Prodigal Son Returns”, “The Return Of The King”, how will this affect the rest of free agency? How will this affect the landscape of the NBA itself? These questions and more will be asked about LeBron’s homecoming, but the most important story and question will be, will championships come with him?

First Look At Superman In Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Reveals New Suit!!!

The first official image of Henry Cavil as Superman in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has been released and it is AMAZING!!! Cavill has really beefed up to the point he looks even bigger now than he did in Man Of Steel. Superman looks like a complete BEAST!!! Which in combination with the way Ben Affleck has beefed up for his role as Batman has me even more excited for this upcoming superhero smash. In the new picture you can also see some very subtle but noticeable changes to the suit that i think really makes it look new and even better than the Man Of Steel suit. The first thing I noticed was the change in the belt. It’s a rectangular shape now as opposed to the circular one and the color has changed to more of blue/white color. The design around Superman’s wrist and torso area are a bit different and the famous iconic “S” symbol looks slightly different on the suit, perhaps it’s a bit more raised on the chest and the color is slightly altered. All of these changes are subtle but all together they make the suit look so much cooler and better overall. Personally, I’m ecstatic about the new image of Superman and coming off the reveal of Affleck in the Batman suit and how amazing that looked, I’m totally excited for the Batman v Superman movie. In an interview with USA Today, who released the image, director Zack Snyder said “Cavill is definitely more comfortable in the role the second time around…The more time I spend with Henry, the more he’s Superman to me.” And it shows, Cavill looks like a stronger, more confident Supes in the new image. Which can only mean great things for the Man Of Steel on the big screen. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016.
